Intra club championships are all but completed for the year. Mixed fours is the only event to be completed.
We have had some success in the District competitions particularly with our ladies. Our men had some success in the District Pairs with one of our members, Gary Bishop, teaming with a Cleveland bowler to defeat our pair of Warren Chambers and Aaron Page in the final.
The Ladies won the Manly Rose Shield competition and were runners up in the District Pairs. They also won the District Novice Singles and the District Champion of Champions Pairs.
Activities coming up are as follows:
- The Men’s Patrons Day will be held on Saturday, 24 October.
- Annual mixed bus trip on 30 October – 1 November.
- The Ladies are holding their annual Melbourne Cup function on Monday, 2 November
- Men’s Bus trip on 21 November
- Ladies Trophy Day on 24 November
- Ladies Christmas Party on 1 December
- Bowls Christmas Party on Friday, 11 December.
