Golf Report July 2017

Over the last couple of months the social club has played at Riverlakes, Bribie Island, Redland Bay, Mt Warren Park plus a bus trip down to Ocean Shores. All the above events were well attended by our current members even though we had some rather wet weather, caused by Cyclone Debbie, that hit our coastline late March and early April.
1st Round of our Match Play Trophy was completed at Riverlakes on 12 March followed by the second round at Carbrook on 7 May and the third round is scheduled to be played at Riverlakes if the course has recovered from its Cyclone Debbie flooding . Our next game is scheduled at Gailes on 4 June and will be our 2 Man Ambrose Trophy event. We are expecting a good turnout for this event.
Over the forthcoming months we will be playing the final of the Match Play Trophy plus our 4BBB Stroke round for the Winter Cup. In August we have our second bus trip to Murwillumbah which is always a good trip enjoyed by the members of the club.
We encourage anybody that is looking to have a game of golf and some exercise with a good bunch of people, to come along and have a game before making a commitment to join the club. Our games are scheduled for every second Sunday at various golf clubs in the metropolitan area.
