The Redlands Sporting Club Pipe Band has been preparing for its annual Pipe Band Competition which will be held on 6 May at the Redlands Tigers Cricket Club Ground. A big thank you to the cricket club for accommodating our event again.
This year we will also have a strongman competition happening as part of the event, with big hairy men in kilts throwing stones about, should be good. We also have the Jill Dobbs School of Dancing coming along to entertain the crowd with Highland dancing displays as well as a local folk band performing (this band has some members of our Pipe band performing in it).
We’re also working with local vendors who may be interested in setting up stalls on the day. If anyone would like to attend please contact myself. All in all its shaping up to be a great community event, it would be great to see everybody along to provide support
